External Sounds 'Sister Brother Music Lover' night is back at The Purple Room on Saturday 20th of June. For this gig we have Irish reggae sound system Intinn playing LIVE! This six piece Reggae band from The West of Ireland, will be playing their great blend of conscious Reggae, Heavy Dub, and Dancehall styles with strong traditional Irish music influences.

Over the past four years they have hosted regular nights in Cork and Galway and have toured Ireland extensively, playing at many venues: From the streets of Galway during The (annual) Galway Arts festival, every year since 2005, to The Warwick, The Black Box, as well as bringing it to the People's Republic of Cork, at Cyprus Avenue with The Revlation Sound System.

They are no strangers to the festivals circuit, playing Life 2007 & 2009 and Mantua 2006/2007 alongside reggae's elite... Zion Train, Eek-A-Mouse, The Wailers with Junior Marvin and The Skatallites over the hectic festival circuit... which also included some very vintage performances over the two days of Solas 08 at Hunington Castle, Co. Carlow, Ireland, as well as festivals in France and in Italy.

This gig is part of a nationwide tour to promote their brand new album. the tour kicked off in Galway on the 5th of June and takes in The Button Factory in Dublin, The Pavillion in Cork as well as a very prestigious support slot to Reggae Legend 'Horace Andy' in Dolans Warehouse in Limerick.

Support on the night will be from the External Sounds djs who will be keeping in the music vibes going with Reggae, Dancehall & Ska style sets. Doors open at 11pm. Admission is 7 euros with a flyer and 8 without.
